💪🏽 I feel energized to do this because I want people to read my blog posts. I want people to buy in to my brand, my message.

I want to have a successful website which thousands of different people from all over the world come to see.

I am going to make sure I am in a healthy state to carry out the engagement steps below as best as I can by making sure I don't just stare at the computer screen all day but also get outside and do some exercise. Plus I will eat healthily.

What really energizes me though to do this is to prove to all the doubters wrong who said my website / brand wouldn't go anywhere.

ENGAGE & LEARN

To get people to visit my website I am going to:

1. Ask everyone 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 👩‍👩‍👦 I know to visit it. I will do this by texting / emailing / phoning / telling them face to face.

2. Ask everyone I know to also ask everyone 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 👩‍👩‍👦 they know to visit my website.

3. Place links 👩‍💻 to my website in all of my online profile fields. Like my Instagram, Twitter and Facebook social networks.

4. Add an email signature ✍️ to all of my emails which includes a link to my website.

5. Start posting about my website with links 🤳 to it on my social media.

6. Add comments in forums that are discussing 🗣 things related to my brand, including my website link.

7. Pay 🤑 for online ads in all the key platforms (like Google, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook) using keywords that are relevant to my brand.

8. Attend events 👨‍🏫 relevant to my brand and tell people by word of mouth.

9. Adding my website to business cards to hand to people whenever I get the chance.

10. Writing value 🤝 driven blog posts and sharing them on social media with links back to my website.

11. If I get stuck and need help I will hire 🙋‍♂️ someone who promises they can get more traffic to my website and offers a money back guarantee.

12. Make videos and share them on YouTube with links to my website.

13. Email my mentors 👥 and ask for their advice and help, then work through those actions as part of this path.

14. Do some speaking presentations to get my brand known and always mention the website.

16. Create products 💼 and offers that will entice people to want to visit my website.

I have learnt so far that persistence is key. NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAM! Always be polite and professional. Believe in what your website says. Add value at all times. Make sure your work is as professional as you can make it. Be honest and don't be afraid to ask others for help. Don't be afraid to ask others to visit your website direct.

I have learnt from Gary Vaynerchuk that for the first 12 months I should not look at my website analytics. Instead I should just let my passion and joy of administrating my website and promoting my brand be what drives me.
