One of the key goals people want to use FEEL4 to focus on achieving is losing weight. So it is unusual to find those who want to focus on gaining weight.

There are several videos on YouTube showing the path a few brave fitness trainers have taken to empathise with their overweight clients. It is a path that has led them to gain weight and then try and lose it.

The idea is to show their overweight clients that they know what it is like to start at the deep end and sum up the will power to swim back to a great looking body. If they can do it, their clients can too.

If you are thinking of losing weight here is the FEEL4 path that all of these videos combined appear to outline.

FEEL4 PATH

FOCUS

I am focusing on losing weight and getting my body into a firm and healthy state that I feel good about, and I want to do this in as fast a timeframe as my health and fitness levels allow.

ENERGISE

I feel energized to achieve my focus because I am currently at an age where I am threatened with illnesses like diabetes and heart disease. I do not want to get to a point where I am out of breath walking up my home stairs. I do not want to see the look of disgust in other people’s eyes when I go swimming. I want to make my friends and family proud of me by showing I have what it takes to lose weight. I want to feel the moment when my body is feeling great and I get a compliment from someone. I want to feel energy running through me and not feel like I have to sit down all of the time. I want to be able to get naked and not feel body conscious. I want my partner to fancy me and look at me like they have won the body lottery!

ENGAGE & LEARN

I am engaging and learning things via the following actions:

1. I am engaging with visiting my doctor and explaining what food and exercise changes I want to do to lose weight and asking for their support and advice as to what is sensible and will not risk my overall health (i.e. I don’t want to get a heart attack from pushing my fat body too hard).

1.1 I am learning that you can also ask a doctor online for their diet advice. This search helped me understand what services are on offer.

2. I am engaging with preparing a meal plan so that I know what food I need to be eating and avoiding to get myself into shape.

2.1 I am learning that if I cannot afford a nutritionist to give their advice specifically for me then I can get some free advice on the internet from a search and these are the best ones I have found so far:

This path will save you time searching around the internet and noting down everything in all of the suggested videos shown above. It gives you all of the information you need to lose weight healthily.

One of things not mentioned above is something that I personally believe has had the most amazing impact on my own health – juicing!
